This piece contains the entire blood volume of an adult woman in the form of artificial blood. The title represents this volume in millilitres. Usually one does not think of the essential lifeblood flowing through our veins, let alone its weight. However, this chain is meant to make an otherwise impossible experience tangible and to enable a completely new relationship to the wearer’s inner self.
